Julian Andrews
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer
BCom (Hons), PhD, CFA, GAICD
Julian, as Managing Director and Chief Executive brings over 20 years of experience in diversified portfolio investment management. His background includes broad project finance, capital raising and mergers and acquisitions experience across the mining, energy and chemicals industry landscape.
Prior to taking the Managing Director role, Julian was Head of Strategy, Planning and Business Development at Iluka where he joined in 2017. Prior to Iluka, he held various roles at Wesfarmers, including General Manager, Business Development and Chief Financial Officer in Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers division. He began his career in strategy consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada and worked in project finance and corporate advisory in the USA before returning to Perth in 2004.
Julian holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.

Jason Clifton
Chief Financial Officer
Jason has over 25 years experience in finance, strategy, capital management and business integration across the banking, energy and resources industries. Jason’s previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of Australian Strategic Materials, Senior Vice President Financial Services at Woodside Energy, Chief Financial Officer of Bankwest and Chief Financial Officer of Westpac New Zealand.
Jason is a Board member of the Cancer Council WA, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bronwyn Kerr
General Counsel & Company Secretary
Bronwyn is an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary, joining Deterra from Pilbara iron ore producer Atlas Iron. In her in-house roles, Bronwyn advised companies on governance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, leveraged finance and project development, including procurement, land access and community engagement.
Bronwyn commenced her career at a global law firm where she advised companies in relation to mining and infrastructure projects as well as a broad range of commercial matters.
Bronwyn is admitted to practice law in Western Australia and holds post-graduate qualifications in finance and corporate governance.

Tyron Rees
Chief Operating Officer
Tyron Rees has extensive experience in the natural resources sector, most recently as Co-Founder & COO of Trident Royalties, which was acquired in 2024 by Deterra Royalties, an ASX-200 company. Prior to Trident, Tyron worked for Resource Capital Funds, a leading mining-focused private equity firm. Before transitioning to finance, Tyron held roles with Sandfire Resources and Newmont Goldcorp in various technical roles as a Metallurgical Engineer with a focus on construction and commissioning.
Tyron is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and previously served as alternate Non-Executive Director of private bauxite developer, Alliance Mining Commodities. Tyron is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, holds a Masters Degree in Finance and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Minerals Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines.

Adam Davidson
Head of Americas
Adam Davidson has extensive experience in the natural resources sector, most recently as Founder & CEO of Trident Royalties, which was acquired in 2024 by Deterra Royalties, an ASX-200 company. Prior to Trident, Adam worked for Resource Capital Funds, a leading mining-focused private equity firm, and previously held positions with BMO Capital Markets and Orica Mining Services. He has extensive mining capital markets experience across a breadth of jurisdictions and commodities. Adam began his career with T. Rowe Price and also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Adam is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and previously served as a Non-Executive Director of private gold producer, RG Gold, as well as Executive Director of Trident Royalties and currently serves as a board member of South Atlantic Gold. He earned his MBA from the College of William & Mary and completed a post-graduate in Mining Studies from the University of Arizona.

Vanessa Pereira
Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Vanessa has extensive experience in administration, marketing, compliance and business and office management.
Vanessa began her career in HR and executive assistant roles before moving into operations, corporate administration, compliance and marketing.

Li Li
Financial Controller
Li Li is a CPA qualified accountant with a wide range of finance and accounting experiences including financial planning & analysis, business case development, technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal & external audit from Big 4 and Fortune 500 companies in U.S. and China.

James Thomson
Senior Resource Geologist
James is a professional geologist with over 10 years of experiences across a range of commodities including, Iron Ore, Nickel, Lithium, Coal and Diamonds. Throughout this time period he has developed advance skill sets in 3D modelling and resource evaluation, including leading exploration drill programs for BHP and Mineral Resources. He also has a broad knowledge base in corporate finance to support strategic studies, project evaluation and life of mine planning.
James holds a double degree from the University of Western Australia with Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Geology and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Corporate and Investment Finance. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Jonathan Inns
Group Financial Controller
Jon has over 15 years’ experience gained in finance roles across the mining and oil & gas industry most recently as the Group Financial Controller at Trident Royalties, which was acquired in 2024 by Deterra Royalties, an ASX-200 company. Prior to joining Trident Jon held finance roles with a number of UK LSE listed entities including Kaz Minerals plc, Rockhopper Exploration plc & Hurricane Energy plc.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Finance & Trade and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Sruti Simon
Business Development Analyst
Sruti is a Business Development Analyst with Deterra. Sruti also worked as an Analyst for BlueMount Capital, working on several infrastructure and pharmaceutical transactions. Prior to transitioning into her role at Deterra, Sruti worked in an engineering services firm, Motherwell Automation, as a Finance Manager.
Sruti holds a Masters in Applied Finance from the University of Western Australia and an undergraduate degree majoring in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town. She has completed CFA Level I and II.

Ben Van Heurck
Business Development Analyst
Ben previously was a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring team.
At FTI he worked on a range of mining engagements from feasibility studies to production, covering the commodities iron ore, copper, nickel, and gold.
Ben is currently completing his studies to become a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Western Australia.

Phoebe is a Lawyer with Deterra. In her previous roles, Phoebe advised on legal and compliance matters across the mining, financial institutions and energy industries. Phoebe commenced her career at a global law firm where she advised companies in relation to mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and general corporate and commercial matters.
Phoebe holds a Bachelor of Law (First Class Honours) from the University of Notre Dame and is admitted to practise law in Western Australia.
