Jennifer Seabrook

As Chair of Deterra, Ms Seabrook brings over 30 years’ experience across capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and accounting advisory roles and a number of non executive directorships for listed, unlisted and federal and state government corporations.

Currently Chair of BGC Australia Group and a Non-Executive Director of HBF Health Limited. Selected previous directorships include Australian Rail Track Corporation, MMG Limited, Export Finance & Investment Corporation and IRESS Limited. Ms Seabrook was a Non-Executive Director of Iluka from 2008 until her retirement from the Board in April 2020 and was a member of ASIC’s External Advisory Group from 2010 to 2013 and the Takeovers Panel from 2000 to 2012.

Ms Seabrook holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Neal brings approximately 30 years of experience in the mining sector in both executive and investment banking roles. He currently also serves as Chairman of G Mining Ventures, a TSX-listed and Montreal, Canada headquartered gold producer operating in Brazil and Guyana, where he has been a director since the formation of the Company in 2020.

He was previously a Founding Partner of Whetstone Resources, a private acquisition company focused on mining assets (2022-2025), served as Executive Vice President at Kirkland Lake Gold (2021-2022) where he was responsible for Corporate Development, Business Improvement, Capital Projects and Investor Relations, and President and Chief Executive Officer of TMAC Resources (2018-2021); both Kirkland Lake and TMAC Resources were sold to Agnico Eagle.

Mr Neal is a veteran mining investment banker, having worked with BMO Capital Markets from 1997 after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration until his retirement in 2018. During this time, he focused exclusively on the metals and mining industry, serving as Co Head and Managing Director of BMO’s Global Metals and Mining Group from 2010.

Graeme Devlin

Experience

Mr Devlin brings to Deterra a deep and varied set of experiences from his business development, operational, investment evaluation and structured finance roles within BHP Group, Rio Tinto and CRA Limited.

Prior to his retirement, Mr Devlin served as BHP’s head of acquisitions and divestments from 2009 to 2016. During his time at BHP, Mr Devlin led the transformation of BHP’s Capital investment decision making rigour, capability and processes. Mr Devlin was also instrumental in the identification and evaluation of numerous opportunities and execution of transactions, which led to a fundamental reshaping of BHP’s core asset portfolio. This included the successful demerger of South32 in 2015.

Mr Devlin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.

Adele Stratton

Ms Stratton brings to Deterra significant finance and commercial experience as Chief Financial Officer at Iluka and as a qualified chartered accountant with 20 years’ experience working in both professional practice and public listed companies.

Ms Stratton commenced her career with KPMG, spending seven years in the assurance practice both in the UK, where she qualified as a chartered accountant and Australia. Prior to joining Iluka, she worked in a number of finance roles at Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Perth.

Ms Stratton holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Liverpool and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Leanne Heywood (OAM)

Experience

Ms Heywood brings to Deterra extensive experience as a non-executive director and mining executive.

She currently serves as a non-executive director of Snowy Hydro Limited, Firefly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM), Lotus Resources Limited (ASX: LOT), Advanced Engineered Materials Limited, Denison Gas Limited and a director of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (South Eastern Section). Ms Heywood previously served as a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Arcadium Lithium, prior to its acquisition by Rio Tinto.

She has significant management experience gained through an international executive career in the mining sector, most recently in a senior international copper marketing role with Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO) and prior to that, as Chief Financial Officer of a copper mine in the Rio Tinto portfolio.

She was named New South Wales Business Woman of the Year in 2019, and in 2021 was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

Ms Heywood holds an MBA from the University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Alex Morrison

Mr Morrison brings to Deterra 15 years’ of non-executive director experience in the mining sector, having served in a range of roles on the boards of a number of TSX- and NYSE-listed copper and gold focused explorers, developers and operators.

He currently serves on the boards of Energy Fuels Corporation (NYSE-EFR), and is Lead Director of Selkirk Copper Mines Inc and Nations Royalty Corporation (TSX: NRC).

Mr Morrison held also held a number of senior executive roles including as Vice President of Operations Services and Information Technology at Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE/ASX: NEM, TXS: NGT), and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of global royalties company Franco-Nevada Limited (NYSE/TSX: FNV).

Mr Morrison holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University, is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and is a Certified Public Accountant of Illinois.

Mr Morrison is based in Denver, Colorado.

Throughout this time period he has developed advance skill sets in 3D modelling and resource evaluation, including leading exploration drill programs for BHP and Mineral Resources. He also has a broad knowledge base in corporate finance to support strategic studies, project evaluation and life of mine planning.

James holds a double degree from the University of Western Australia with Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Geology and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Corporate and Investment Finance. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).
